Robbers loot jewellery, cash worth lakhs in Ghaziabad

Six robbers looted a house in Kavi Nagar of Ghaziabad on the intervening night of 27 and 28 of July, Police said. They entered the house by breaking a kitchen window and robbed the house at the gunpoint. Probe is on to nab the criminals.

Ghaziabad: Burglars looted jewellery and cash worth lakhs of rupees from a family living in Kavi Nagar here, police said.

They entered the house through a kitchen window past midnight and locked the family members, including women, in bathrooms. They then asked them for the keys while pointing the gun at a child.

The family members told the police that they were beaten up and misbehaved with too.

Police have registered the case and started inquiry to nab the robbers.
