Ambedkar Nagar (Uttar Pradesh): A minor Dalit girl was allegedly abducted and raped by two people in Uttar Pradesh's Ambedkar Nagar.
As per a complaint lodged by the girl's family, two men took the girl to a field and gang-raped her.
The matter came to light when the minor managed to reach home and informed her parents about the incident.
Police registered a case based on the complaint of the victim's family. The girl was sent to a hospital for medical examination, police said.
Both the accused were arrested and remanded.
According to Superintendent of Police, Alok Priyadarshi, a boy involved in the incident knew the girl.
He confirmed the arrest of the two accused in the case. Police also recovered the vehicle used for the crime.
