Ghaziabad: A man has been arrested for allegedly killing a woman believed to be his girlfriend after she wanted to marry him, police said.
Kalanidhi Naithani, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Ghaziabad, told ETV Bharat that the man, identified as Shahid, was in a relationship with the woman and he was already married.
On August 10, Shahid attacked the woman with bricks and fled the scene. The case was solved after footage from CCTV camera in the area was seen, police said.
"The motorbike and the bricks that were used in the crime have been recovered, according to police.
