The court was hearing a petition filed by Yadav's wife Shivangi through advocate Imran Ullah.

After hearing the petitioner's arguments, the court asked the Jhansi SSP to file the affidavit till November 26 -- the next date of hearing.

The petitioner's lawyer told the court that Inspector Dharmendra Singh Chouhan, who fired on Yadav, was a relative of the SSP.

Dear Shailendra ji

Students in this school are taught not by cane but by dance

Ahinda Composite school in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur is teaching its students in an innovative way. Teachers in the school are teaching students by way of dance and music. The school has seen students from convent schools also turning to this school.

Fatehpur: From morning onwards the atmosphere at the Ahinda Composite school is filled with music.  Everyday the students look forward to enjoying the music at the school. From morning prayers, yoga to the curriculum at the school is taught via music at this school. The mid day meal is also served in the midst of holy chants. As a result of this unique effort, in a school of  395 students the attendance is in between 85-90 percent.

The school is different form other Government schools

Ahinda Composite School breaks the usual notion towards Governemnt schools. The school neither has a dilapidated building nor is the attendance taken by hand. The school like any other convent school follows an english medium curriculum.

Due to the backwardness of the district the average literacy rate is relatively low here.Keeping this in mind the teachers try to teach in an easier way. For this purpose most of the activities here are conducted through a music system.

Teachers teach as friends

Assistant teacher Ram Prasad has a crucial role to play in this. He is more like a friend to the students than a teacher. He conducts a lot of activities involving the students like dancing and singing. Retired as a Chief Petty officer from Navy, Ram Prasad tells that the students are easy to grasp content which is delivered through the help of music. The environment in the school is easygoing thus the children are always excited to attend school. The children are able to get rid of their inhibitions with the help of various cultural activities conducted here.

Study through music has led to a raise in the attendance

Ram Prasad tells that when I joined the school in 2018 there were 188 students. Looking at the situation at the school I changed the style of teaching, in which the staff was also very cooperative. A lot of attention is given to cleanliness in the school premises. Apart from this with mutual help the water and and other important resources were managed. The result of these effort today can be seen as many students from convent schools have started getting admission in this school.Today the strength of the school stands at 395 and the attendance of students is never below 80 percent.

Ram Prasad has been felicitated number of times

For his efforts to teach students in an innovative Ram Prasad has been honoured number of times from district to state level. The state Government awarded him for his services with Teachers award in 2019. Shaheen Jamla, Principal of the school says that in our school the mode of education is in sync with any other convent school. Children are taught the curriculum via an easy and soft medium. The entire staff chips in to get this innovative idea going.
