Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh): A massive fire broke out in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad on Tuesday. No reports of casualty have been registered so far.
The fire erupted in the slums of Tronica city, following which 10 fire tenders reached the site to douse the fire.
Efforts are being made to control the fire but so far a large portion of the property has been damaged.
According to the official, the fire broke out in the residential area apparently due to a gas leak which turned into a devastating one within a few moments.
Meanwhile, locals were assured by the administration they would to get food and other facilities until they are rehabilitated.
The fire and smoke were so fierce that there was darkness all around.
In another incident of fire reported from Sihani Gate area in Ghaziabad on Monday - two children sustained injuries and over 50 houses were gutted. Following the incident, fire tenders reached the suite and conducted a rescue operation.
