Noida (Uttar Pradesh): A family in Uttar Pradesh's Noida has alleged negligence on the part of the hospital authorities after one member of the family died of COVID at his home.
The 77-year-old man who lives in Sector 76 in Noida has tested positive along with the other members. The family was then kept in home isolation.

According to the family, after testing positive, the health department did not contact the family. They also did not enquire about the condition of the patients. Suddenly the health of the elderly man deteriorated after which they contacted the department, however, got no response from their side. The family is alleging that he died due to lack of timely treatment.
Meanwhile, the family also alleged that when the family asked for the funeral, the department asked to wait till Tuesday, while the neighbours alleged that when the health department did not help the family, they contacted the police in the late evening reached a PCR society but returned without help.

After which the son posted a video on social media and the health department came into action.
The health department has, however, denied the allegations.
