New Delhi: After the husband of a COVID-19 patient from Ghaziabad alleged that his wife was not receiving proper care at the hospital, the district CMO has reached out to the hospital authorities to look into the matter.
Earlier yesterday, ETV Bharat had reported about the situation, where the man in an emotional video message with his two kids, alleged that his wife, a COVID-19 patient with underlying cancer, was not receiving proper care at the Meerut hospital where she has been admitted.
He said that his wife who was already undergoing treatment for cancer at a hospital in the national capital, tested positive for COVID-19.
However, the man said that in a video call, his wife complained that she was not even receiving proper food at the hospital.
After taking note of the situation, Ghaziabad CMO Narendra Kumar Gupta said that he has directed the Meerut hospital to make proper arrangements for the patient.
Gupta said that he has spoken with the HoD of the hospital, and has asked for proper care to be given to the woman.
