Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh): Ram Vilas Vedanti, Executive President of Ram Mandir Trust and former MP said during a press conference in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur that Congress has allegedly spread unrest across the country by the name of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA).
Vedanti claimed that the Citizenship (Amendment) Act has been implemented to make India free from the intruders, not Muslims. Therefore, there is no reason that the Muslims to worry.
Vedanti said that after PM Modi won the Lok Sabha election with a majority of votes, he declared that they will make India corruption-free and terror-free.
But Congress does not want that, therefore, started to provoke people to protest against CAA, said Vedanti.

He further claimed that a report said among 35 thousand agitators in the Jamia Millia Islamia University protest, cases were registered against only 4 thousand students.
Most of the protestors were outsiders who had the motive to create a ruckus.
While speaking on Ram temple, Vedanti said that as the court has given the order to build the Ram Temple by forming a trust, the work is going accordingly.
Besides this, he also said the Ram temple will be of one thousand and eleven feet high so that it can be seen from Islamabad, Lahore, Srinagar and Kolkata.
