Ayodhya (UP): As the process of Ram temple's construction is advancing in Ayodhya, the saints associated with the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) have raised questions about the existing temple model.
On Saturday, the protest of some saints came out openly when they said that the proposed model of the temple is small in size and there is a need to increase it and construct a bigger and grand temple.
The saints also held a meeting and accused Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust of ignoring them in the matter related to temple's construction.
Speaking on this, Mahant Dharmadas of Nirvani Akhara said that the Panchayati system is not being followed by the trust.
"Everything was done in a pre-planned manner in the meeting held by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust on March 19. Everything was decided without discussion in the meeting. Saints are being constantly ignored," he alleged.
It is to be noted that the first phase of construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya has begun with the creation of a new place where the idol of Lord Ram will be kept. The idol has to be shifted from the tent to a new place before actual construction could start.
