Lucknow: One person was killed and 35 others were injured in a bus accident on Lucknow Agra Expressway in Uttar Pradesh.
The bus veered off the road after its driver lost control, leaving one passenger dead on the spot and injuring 35 others. Of the injured, 14 people are said to be in a critical condition and were referred to the trauma centre, Lucknow.
The bus was going from Delhi to Patna.
A team of personnel from Auras police station reached the spot and carried out the relief work, removed the overturned bus and restored the traffic.
A police official said that the Volvo bus going from Delhi to Patna overturned at around 5:30 am. The injured were initially admitted to Auras CHC but were later referred to the Trauma Center Lucknow.
