Sehore (Madhya Pradesh): Former Governor of Uttar Pradesh and Mizoram, Aziz Qureshi, spoke exclusively to ETV Bharat regarding the FIR filed against him in Lucknow.
He alleged that the case registered against him is due to brainstorming, bankruptcy and the fraudulent nature of Yogi government. He informed that he visited the protest made by women against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) and when they requested him to attend the candle march, he agreed to it.
Following which, the FIR was registered. Even after the declaration of section 144, a candle march was carried out against the CAA and National Register of Citizens (NRC), on Friday. He said that the police did not allow the march to take place but he did not stop and continued the march. He further informed that he will continue his fight for rights.
