Hyderabad (Telangana): A 34-year-old man, who was a native of West Bengal, jumped into Hussain Sagar Lake here on Sunday, fearing that he had contracted the coronavirus, police said.
For a week, he was undergoing treatment at a private clinic, later he developed symptoms of COVID, so the doctor advised him to get admitted to a private hospital.

Though he went to a private hospital, he could not get admitted as all the beds were reportedly occupied.
On Friday evening, July 3, he complained of breathlessness. Later, he called his friend and asked to take him to tank bund, walked for some distance and jumped into the lake.
His body was recovered on Sunday afternoon and sent for post-mortem.
