Hyderabad: In an appalling incident, a 15-year-old boy died as he drowned in a swimming pool here on Friday. It has been alleged that there were no life guards at the pool when the tragedy happened.

The deceased named Mohammed Kaaja visited the pool to learn swimming where he drowned in the absence of trainer.
Kaaja's family members have alleged that victim had gone for swimming at a pool in Shivarampally and perhaps slipped and fell into the deeper portion the pool while playing.
Family members alleged that Kaaja died due to the negligence of the swimming pool management.
The police reached the spot and shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital for postmortem.
"We have registered a case against the swimming pool owner under Section 403 A of Indian Penal Code and further investigation into the case is underway", police said.
