Chennai: A CCTV footage of a public bus running over an old woman in Chennai on Saturday went viral on social media.
The incident took place at Chennai's Purasaiwakkam area.
The old woman, identified as Vasthala, was crossing the road when a public bus knocked her down. She lost her legs in the accident.

People in the locality rushed to the spot immediately and rushed the injured woman to a nearby hospital.
A case has been registered and the investigation is underway.
