The Shishukunj International Foundation recently organised a journey on autorickshaws from Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu to Bhuj, Gujarat, with the goal of raising funds for education and social welfare projects for underprivileged children. A group of 108 participants embarked on this unique journey, covering a total distance of 3,000 km in 36 autorickshaws.The participants traversed multiple states over the course of 13 days, starting on December 13. The group arrived in Bhuj on Thursday.Ritwid Dholakia, Associated With Shishukunj International School Bhuj said, "Shishukunj Tuk-Tuk Safarnama 2024 started from Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu to Bhuj, it was a 13-day journey. There are many reasons behind organising this, the first reason is that the institute has many centres so this enabled members to meet and discuss about the work being done. And we are building a hostel in Bhuj, so we have to raise funds for that."The participants in the unique journey included many members of the organisation who had come from abroad. The funds raised during this journey will go towards constructing a hostel and teacher training centre at Shishukunj International School in Kutch for the development of the underprivileged.

An ongoing exhibition of sculptures titled 'Forces of Imagination', at the India Habitat Centre is captivating art enthusiasts in the national capital. According to the organisers, the exhibition focuses on the tactile and transformative nature of sculpture, showcasing the importance of materials such as marble, bronze, and stainless steel in public art.President of Delhi Art Society, Neeraj Gupta said, "We have a blend of wonderful thought-provoking art forms from all the major regions of India and all the artists here have tried to attain peak in the three most important materials of sculpting, that is marble, bronze and stainless steel, which are not only important from the sculpting point of view but are also the only materials which are of importance for public art."The exhibition also aims to elevate the sculptural art scene in India to new heights by exploring these mediums in innovative ways. Art critics have expressed their admiration for the exhibition, praising its impact and highlighting the skilful use of materials by the sculptors.

Six people died when a truck rammed into a car they were travelling in at Chinnaveppanatham near Namakkal in Tamil Nadu on Saturday. Police have recovered the bodies and sent it for autopsy.Namakkal (Tamil Nadu): At least six people including four workers from Bihar killed in a road accident in Tamil Nadu's Namakkal District in the wee hours of Saturday, police said.The incident took place while a Tata Sumo in which the workers were returning from their workplace in Kattupudur, collided with a bricks lorry near Chinnaveppanatham area.Also read: Three dead, one injured after car rams into divider in MumbaiBeing informed, police have rushed to the accident site for conducting a rescue operation.Following the investigation, deceased are identified as Dharma, Babloo, Kumar, Sathish from Bihar and other two are the residents of Tamil Nadu.Police have recovered the bodies and sent for autopsy.Also Read: Shivraj calls Jyotiraditya Scindia 'Vibhishan'
