Jodhpur (Rajasthan): At least five people were killed and one injured when a car collided with a tractor-trailer on the Jaipur-Jodhpur Highway in Rajasthan. The accident took place in the wee hours on Monday. The impact of the accident was such that three people died on the spot while the other two failed to respond to the treatment.

As road construction work is being undertaken, vehicles plying in both directions are being guided on one side of the road. Because of the heavy movement of traffic, retrieving the bodies turned out to be a mammoth exercise. According to police, the deceased persons were residents of Londari Malgaon in Rajasthan.
