Jaipur: Renowned sculptor and Padma Shri awardee Arjun Prajapati died on Thursday after suffering from coronavirus.
The 63-year-old artist had been under COVID treatment for nearly 37 days and had also tested negative over the course of treatment.
However, a fatal infection developed in his body, causing death the news of which was confirmed by Rajendra Prajapati, deceased's son.

Born in 1957, Arjun had earned a name for himself in the field of pottery and sculpting. Eventually, in 2010 he was awarded the prestigious Padma Sri for his contributions to the world of art.
