Rajasthan: Congress MLA Bharosilal Jatav was shot at indiscriminately by a youth on Wednesday morning in Hindaun city of Rajasthan, triggering panic in the area as political temperature soared high, a source said.
According to the sources, the culprit fired a shot when the Congress leader was addressing a public hearing at his private residence. The incident provoked panic in the area, police reached the spot on a tip off.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot took stock of the situation with a clear order to investigate the matter.

"The man tried to kill me but luckily he couldn't succeed in his mission. He has been absconding but the police have registered an FIR and the probe is underway. He will soon be put behind bars," the Congress leader added.
