Sikar (Rajasthan): Four members of a family were found hanging in their house at Purohit Ji Ki Dhani area in Rajasthan's Sikar town on Sunday.
The preliminary investigation reveals that it could be a case of mass suicide. It has also been found out that family members were under a lot of stress due to the loss of their young son.
The deceased have been identified as 45-year-old Hanuman, his wife Tara, 20-year-old daughter Anu and 22-year-old daughter Pooja.
The incident came to light when neighbours of Hanuman went to their house. They informed the police about the incident. On being informed, police rushed to the spot and sent the bodies to the hospital for postmortem.
Police have also found a suicide note from the spot and it only mentioned that they are committing suicide because they had lost their son recently. Further investigation is underway.
