Kota (Rajasthan): A Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited assistant engineer, who was caught red-handed receiving Rs 3,000 as bribe by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials, slipped away from their custody, sources said.
The incident took place when the ACB officials stopped to have dinner, they said.
Additional SP, ACB, Chandersheel Kumar said arrested assistant engineer Dinesh Kholia had complaint of uneasiness and as we sat for dinner, he ran away.
Local police were informed and search operation was on, the official said, adding that he would be arrested soon.
Kholia had demanded bribe from a framer for installing power transformer at his field and he was caught-red handed receiving the amount as the farmer had complaint against him.
