Jaisalmer (Rajasthan): Congress MLA Prashant Bairwa was admitted to Jawahar Hospital here on Thursday following an ache in his stomach.
He is one of the Congress MLAs from Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's camp who are staying at Suryagadh and Gorbandh Palace Hotel in the state.
Cabinet minister Saleh Mohammed accompanied Bairwa to the hospital where sonography was conducted on him.
Saleh also inspected the facilities and medical preparedness at the hospital.
After proper diagnosis, the doctor at the hospital declared him fit to go back to the hotel.
"After the sonography, a radiologist diagnosed him for any complications. We found everything to be normal and administered him medicines for stomach ache and discharged him," Dr VK Singh said.
The Congress has accused the BJP of indulging in horse-trading to bring down the Gehlot government. The BJP has rejected the allegations.
The Congress government in Rajasthan continues to be in turmoil after the simmering differences between Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot came out in the open.
Pilot was sacked from the posts of Rajasthan deputy chief minister and state unit president in July. The 42-year-old leader and 18 MLAs who are supporting him, were also issued disqualification notices by the speaker of the state assembly.
