PM Modi tweet brings spotlight on Ajmer girl's fight against disability

Inspired by world-renowned cosmologist Stephen Hawking, Ajmer's young woman Nandini Gaur decided to make a mark for herself and took to drawing as her passion. The spotlight turned on her when PM Modi tweeted his response to a congratulatory painting posted on social media by the woman on the completion of the 100th episode of Man ki Baat.

Ajmer (Rajasthan) : Seeing the determination and passion of 22-year-old Nandini Gaur of Ajmer, PM Narendra Modi has tweeted and lauded her work as an adorable painting. He said he was overwhelmed to see the congratulatory message from Nandini and wished her all the best. On the completion of the 100th edition of PM Narendra Modi's Mann Ki Baat recently, Nandini congratulated him in her own style which caught the PM's attention.

Nandini, who lives in Kisan Colony on Chaurasiawas Road, Ajmer, does not work since birth. But Nandini never let her spirits down. To make her mark, Nandini began a friendship with art and painted with her mouth. Without training, Nandini's friendship with art deepened and her painting started improving day by day.

You must have seen people painting with hands and feet many times, but Nandini paints by holding the brush with her mouth. On the 100th edition of Mann Ki Baat, Nandini had prepared a masterpiece to wish him. She also put this work on social media. People liked the work made by Nandini so much that its fame reached the PM's notice.

PM Narendra Modi himself has congratulated Nandini by tweeting. Modi has called it a very lovely painting. Modi's tweet has brought Nandini into the limelight. Nandini is the younger daughter of her parents. Her elder sister Kritika is an assistant professor at a private university in Jaipur. Nandini has had neurological problems since birth.

But Nandini is doing what a good person cannot even think of. Nandini never gave up her courage. The parents did a lot for his treatment. But he could not succeed. He is living here in a rented house. Nandini says that her parents never made any difference between us two sisters. He gets full support from the family. Family members help in changing brushes even while painting. She said that she wants to become self-sufficient, so she has made art practice her goal.

Nandni is pursuing BA in drawing from a University in Jaipur. Nandini's uncle Yogesh Gaur says that she had read a lot about physicist and cosmologist Stephen Hawking since then she was inspired to do something. Many people get disappointed due to physical weakness and Nandini is an example for them.
