Cop fined Rs 2000 for not wearing mask in Puri, Odisha

A Puri traffic cop who was on duty at the Medical Chowk on Bada Danda, was fined by the enforcement squad for not wearing his mask.

Puri (Odisha): A traffic constable belonging to Puri police was fined Rs 2,000 for not wearing a mask. The constable in question was on duty at the Medical Chowk on Bada Danda, when he was spotted by the enforcement squad today. In the recent drive during the second wave of COVID-19, 5,923 persons have been fined in the district by police for violation of COVID protocols, SP Dr Kanwar Vishal Singh said.
