Odisha boy develops special specs for blind-deaf person

Priyabrata, a standard VIII student has made a special spectacle which will be helpful not only for blind people but also for deaf people. His family members pleaded the government to support him in his research work.

Jajpur: A student from Odisha's Jajpur has developed a pair of spectacles, which can prove to be a boon for the visually impaired and deaf.

The young inventor, Priyabrata Sahu, studies in standard VIII at Prahallad Chandra Bramhachari School of Jajpur.

He made the spectacles from waste material with the help of Atal Tinkering Labs, which have been set up in schools under the collaboration of Niti Aayog and Central Government. His endeavour was fulfilled under the guidance of his school teacher.

The device is designed in such a way that visually impaired persons can know the presence of things in front of them through a censor.

The device can also help deaf people as it will vibrate and they will be cautious about the danger ahead.

Priyabrata's invention has invited applause from his classmates and family. His family members pleaded the government to support him in his research work. This invention of Priyabrata will certainly provide encouragement to other students.

Intro:Body:

With a view to attracting students towards  study of science, Atal Tinkering Labs have been set up in schools established by the Central Government and Niti Ayog. The main aim of these labs is to make and invent new materials out of left over and rejected stuff.   This objective has been fulfilled by Priyabrata Sahu, a class VIII student of Prahallad Chandra Brahmachari School of Jajpur district. He has made such a pair of spectacles  that can become a boon for the vision impaired  and the deaf. He has received full encouragement  for this project from his science teacher and if further research is undertaken  in this regard and the project is approved at the government level, it would yield a tremendous result.



Body:vo-1  spectacles for the blind persons ! Although one cannot see through these spectacles, but one can overcome an impending danger by these spectacles. Yes, such a pair of spectacles has been made by Priyabrata  Sahu, a class VIII student of Prahallad Chandra Brahmachari School.  Priyabrata has made this spectacles in the Atal Tinkering Lab of his school. And his science teacher Tusar Kanti Mishra had extended his full cooperation in his endeavour.  If  vision impaired persons put on these spectacles they can know  the presence of things in front of them through a buzzer system. Likewise, the deaf persons can also use these spectacles. In case of the deaf persons, the spectacles would vibrate and they would be cautious about the danger ahead.

Vo-2- From his childhood, Priyabrata had tremendous weakness for science. After seeing the plight of blind persons of his village, he had decided to do something for them. With the help of Atal Tinkering Lab set up in his school he had been able to make such a spectacles. Starting from his family, his class mates and teachers of his school are extremely happy over his achievement. His family members have pleaded for approval of his project and urged the government to extend their cooperation in order to carry forward his research work.

Conclusion: This Atal tinkering Lab, which has been set up to attract students to  study of science, has become very useful. This invention of Priyabrata will certainly provide encouragement to other students.
