New Delhi: Judicial Officer Bibhu Prasad Routray has been notified for appointment as a judge of the Odisha High Court.
His name has been recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium in the resolution dated October 3.
The Apex Court has also suggested the elevation of Adv Sanjeeb Kumar Panigrahi but the decision is not final.
In the same resolution, the Collegium had put off the name of Adv Savitri Ratho for appointment as a judge.
Routray has been posted as the first district judge of Nabarangpur. He is currently posted at Behrampur in Odisha.
As soon as he takes charge of his office, his appointment as a judge will come into effect.
