Three journalists test positive for COVID-19 in Mumbai

Three journalists of a media house tested positive for COVID-19 in Mumbai. They were reportedly moved to the civic isolation facility for asymptomatic COVID-19 positive persons at Powai. Thirty-seven of their colleagues tested negative and have been put in quarantine for 14 days.

Mumbai: Three journalists in Mumbai tested positive for coronavirus and reported their results to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Friday night, they were moved to the civic isolation facility for asymptomatic COVID-19 positive persons at Powai.

The three journalists used to stay with other journalists at a hotel in Bandra and commute to work in South Mumbai everyday. Thirty-seven of their colleagues tested negative and have been put in quarantine for 14 days.

It is to be noted that Maharashtra has the highest number of coronavirus cases in the country at 1,985 with as many as 149 deaths.
