Man rescued by RPF at Chembur station in Mumbai

RPF rescued a 40-year-old man who fell down on the platform, while trying to board a train, at Chembur Railway Station of Mumbai. No injuries have been reported

Mumbai: A man, who fell down on the platform while trying to board a local train at Chembur Railway Station, was rescued by the Railway Protection Force (RPF).

The 40-year-old passenger has been identified as Giriraj Pandey.

"The incident took place on Saturday at 2:50 pm at Chembur Station (Vadala road) in Mumbai," said an RPF official.

RPF staff Ram Singh Meena saved the passenger's life.

No injuries were reported.
