Pune: One person was killed and eight others were injured when an LPG cylinder exploded in a house in Maharashtra's Pune district on Sunday, police said.
The incident took place at a housing society in Dighi area of Pimpri Chinchwad industrial township.
According to preliminary information, liquefied petroleum gas leaked from the cylinder and the explosion was triggered when the stove it was connected to was turned on, a police official in Dighi said.
