Child abducted from Chennai rescued by Railway Police in Nagpur

A four-year-old boy who was allegedly abducted from Chennai was rescued by Railway Protection Force in Nagpur from Tamil Nadu Express.

Nagpur: A four-year-old child who was allegedly abducted by two miscreants from Chennai was rescued by Railway Protection Force in Nagpur on Monday. The accused Monu Garibdas Kewat (26) and Shibbu Guddu Kewat (22) were arrested. After examining every coach in Tamil Nadu Express, the child was found by police near the duo in DL coach.

After police interrogation, the duo confessed that the child was abducted. After receiving a tip-off from RPF in Chennai, police were deployed along the entire Nagpur Railway station. It was informed that both the accused were traveling via Nagpur on Tamil Nadu Express.
