Palghar (Maharashtra): A massive fire broke out at Vira Pharma Private Limited company in Vidali village of Maharashtra's Palghar on Monday due to gas leakage.
After observing a dense cloud of smoke emerging from the factory, the locals informed the fire brigade and a team of fire tenders was rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
According to the primary reports, the fire fighter could not manage to enter the building due to unavailability of gas protection masks but later fire tender force from different station was deployed at the spot to douse the flames.
However, reports stated that only two workers were inside the factory at the time of gas leakage as many others were stuck in the city following heavy rainfall across the state.
Realising gas leakage inside the factory, both the workers fled the spot instantly.
More details in the matter are awaited.
