We resigned on our own, are not under pressure: rebel Congress MLAs

In a video message doing rounds on social media, various rebel MLAs of Madhya Pradesh who resigned from Kamal Nath government clarified that they resigned under their own will and support Jyotiraditya Scindia fully.

Madhya Pradesh: A viral video of various missing pro- Jyotiraditya Scindia MLAs' has gone viral on social media in which various MLAs can be seen speaking about their support to Scindia and parting ways from congress.

The rebel ministers in support of Jyotiraditya Scindia, have said that they have done so on their own accord and not under pressure.

A minister could be heard saying that the Congress government in the state constantly neglected them and no development work was taking place in their constituencies.

Another MLA stated that the people of the state voted for the congress because of Scindia but as soon as the government came to power, they started to ignore him.

An MLA could be heard saying that they are all united and have not come under stress and further said that they support Jyotiraditya Scindia ji and will always follow him.

In the video messages doing rounds on social media, these ministers also dismissed claims that they were in touch with the Kamal Nath government.

Nineteen Congress MLA's, including the six ministers, are in Bengaluru, while three others are in other places. All of them have resigned from the assembly in support of Scindia, pushing the Kamal Nath government in deep crisis.

A day after quitting Congress, Scindia on Wednesday joined the BJP in New Delhi.

The state government has claimed that the ministers from the Scindia camp were made to sign their resignation letters fraudulently and that they were in touch with the government from Bengaluru.
