Sehore (Madhya Pradesh) : Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan visited Shahganj of Budhni in Madhya Pradesh today. He was given a rousing reception by the local BJP workers. Shivraj Singh Chauhan, who once called himself 'Tiger is still alive', looked a bit let down during his visit to the Budhni assembly constituency from where he won with a huge margin in this year's election.

Speaking on the occasion, Shivraj said with a note of sadness that "one can get the post of Chief Minister, but no one can ever snatch the post of maternal uncle and brother." This was apparently with reference to his not being considered for the CM post after the 2023 Assembly election victory and also his oft-repeated line of being the maternal uncle to girls and women.

Chouhan further said that sometimes one would have to eventually end up going to exile while waiting for coronation. Even after losing the CM race, Shivraj Singh Chauhan is very active and is continuously touring. In this connection, he addressed the people of Budhni, "My sisters, I will not leave you. I will not go anywhere and I will live here and die here".

Chouhan turned to children in the participants in his meeting and said that they had come to show their love for "mama" (maternal uncle). He said that there is BJP's government in the state and it will implement all the schemes needed for the wellbeing of the people.

The former CM's words left some women participants tearful. Actually, after the assembly elections, speculations are rife that Shivraj Singh may be sent to Delhi. But Shivraj has once again given a message to the Center that he wants to serve the people of the state by staying in MP.

I will continue to serve the state:- Shivraj is repeatedly asserting in his speeches that there is a mission of national reconstruction, and he is a worker of that mission, so wherever he is useful, he will contribute like a squirrel in completing that mission. "I will remain. But along with this, social concern is also my mission. As a worker and citizen, I will always provide positive support to Dr. Mohan Yadav and his entire team," he said.

Chouhan said that as a party worker, his aim will be to work with the party and that Bharatiya Janata Party should win all 29 Lok Sabha seats of Madhya Pradesh. "We will work day and night to achieve this goal," he said.

Shivraj Singh engaged in Mission 29: Shivraj Singh Chauhan is engaged in Mission 29. After meeting the central leadership in Delhi, he had said, "I will fulfill whatever responsibility I am given".
