PUBG addiction: IIT student ends life in Bhopal

An ITI student who was a PUBG game addict committed suicide by hanging himself after allegedly arguing with his mother over a mobile data recharge. His data balance got exhausted while playing PUBG, after which, he asked his mother to recharge the net pack for 3 months but she denied following which he committed suicide.

Bhopal: Online multiplayer game PUBG (Player Unknown Battle Ground), has claimed yet another life in India. This time, an ITI student allegedly committed suicide by hanging self at his residence in Bhopal after his mother didn't agree to recharge mobile data pack.

According to police, the boy committed suicide after his mother denied to recharge 3 month data pack. She also scolded him for being addicted to the online game.

Upset over this, he locked himself in a room and committed suicide by hanging self from the ceiling fan.

The parents immediately took him to a hospital but the doctors declared him brought dead.

It is being said that the boy used to play PUBG daily till 2'O'clock in the night.

Police have begun investigation into the case after registering a case.
