Policeman's 'feet touching' gesture criticised

Dinesh Prajapati, the head of a police station in Madhya Pradesh was seen in a video gesturing to touch the feet of BJP state president VD Sharma. The policeman was in uniform during the act, which sparked widespread criticism.

Ujjain: After Madhav Nagar police station in-charge Dinesh Prajapati touched Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president VD Sharma's feet in his uniform, a storm is brewing over the topic.

The video of the act has gone viral garnering criticism from all sides including Congress spokesperson KK Mishra who asked if the policeman would be punished for the act.

Sharma arrived in Ujjain yesterday to attend civic elections and district presidents meetings.

During the discussion with the media, Sharma described Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor and other Congress members as guiding leaders of chaos. He blamed them for patronizing the malevolent forces and said that the whole act of wrapping the dead farmer in the tricolour was drama.
