Sheopur: In a rare case, a woman gave birth to sextuplets in a district hospital in Sheopur on Saturday morning.
The surviving infants who are reported to be in a critical condition have been kept under observation in the Sick Newborns Care Unit at the hospital. This is said to be the first case of its kind in the district.
The premature delivery had to be carried out by doctors within seven months because of the critical condition of the infants, however, two infants, out of the six, did not survive.
