Madhya Pradesh: A passenger train travelling from Firozpur to Mumbai got separated into two parts when it was 500 metres away from the Harda railway station in Madhya Pradesh at 10 pm.
Punjab Mail's coupling between coach S5 and S6 broke due to which the engine and 17 compartments reached the station, while the 7 compartments were left behind.
The S-5 passengers pulled the chain as soon as it came to information that the train was split into two halves. Some passengers also got injured after the shock.
The train service was resumed after 35 minutes.
Railway officials and staff immediately reached the spot after receiving the information.
