Bhopal: The state government is going to make provision for MLAs to spend 50 per cent of their MLA fund on public welfare so that the MLAs can help the needy during the Covid-19 crisis. A proposal for the same will be introduced in the next cabinet meeting. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said this during a discussion with the Crisis Management Committee and public representatives of all the districts of the state.
During the meeting, the MP CM said that in a country like England, the market was opened after a 90-day shutdown, after which the Covid-19 infection started to rise again. After the opening of markets in many areas in the state, people have started becoming careless. MP CM said that if we become careless, then there will be a situation of the third wave of Covid-19. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan added that all the resources are being mobilised to deal with the third wave, but do not let such a situation arise that these preparations also fall short.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan further added that there is a need to be careful about Covid-19. After the opening of the market in many big countries, the situation has started deteriorating again. It has been decided that every day 80 thousand tests of corona will be conducted in the state. He said that testing should continue in all the districts. Contact tracing of patients should be done on getting corona positive case. He said that last time cold and fever were considered minor, later it turned out to be Covid infection. The third wave will form when we become careless.
The CM further said that all the promotional measures can be adopted in the districts to bring awareness about vaccination. While instructing the officers, he said that by roaming in the city, give the message of vaccination to the people. Through folk songs in the regional language, the message of vaccination can be given in the villages.

Speaking on the tree plantation drive in the state, CM said that awareness has come among the people regarding tree plantation. Along with this, he instructed the public representatives to conduct a plantation campaign between the birth anniversary of Jana Sangh founder Shyama Prasad Mukherjee from 23 June to his birthday on 6 July.
