Madhya Pradesh serial killer caught by same cop second time

The serial killer of Madhya Pradesh, Maniram had been arrested before by Head Constable, Chen Singh Raghuvanshi, twenty years ago. The brave constable has managed to capture this criminal yet again. Speaking to ETV Bharat, Chen Singh Raghuvanshi, the cop said that the accused duped people on the pretext of offering them a share in a treasure he knew how to find.

Bhopal: The Sukhisevnia police in Madhya Pradesh have arrested a wanted serial killer who has allegedly killed six people after luring them with stories about a mythical hidden treasure.

The accused, who was arrested on Tuesday, was arrested twenty years before too and had been sentenced to life-long imprisonment.

Meanwhile, he has also confessed before the police that it was easy for him to make money luring his victims with tales of hidden treasure.

In an interview to ETV Bharat, police officer Chen Singh Raghuvanshi said that the accused duped people on the pretext of offering them a share in a treasure he knew how to find. He then murdered his lenders in cold blood to avoid paying them back.

Five people were murdered in their greed for money

Chen Singh said that in the year 2000, he was posted as head constable in Vidisha Gyaraspur police station. It was then that he had arrested this serial killer Maniram. Chen Singh had personally known the accused and said that he was accused of killing a Dalit family one by one in the forest of Manora between 12 and 4 in the morning.

Maniram had lured them into the forest with the pretext of showing them a buried treasure. He later buried them in a pile of sand in the river. A month and a half later, on the basis of the information, in this case, the police found five skeletons after digging into the sand there.

Chen Singh Raghuvanshi knew Maniram personally

The five skeletons found belonged to the same family, which included a mother, daughter-in-law, father and son. They were killed on the pretext of finding buried treasure in the area. When the people of the village started to suspect something, they informed the head constable Chen Singh Raghuvanshi about the whole case.

Chen Singh reached Maniram's house and questioned his family. He came to know that Maniram Sen had not come home for several days. On the basis of doubt, after about one and a half years, Chen Singh Raghuvanshi arrested Maniram. After managing to solve the whole case, he was awarded a promotion. Today he is in charge of the Piplani police station and has succeeded in arresting the same serial killer for the second time.

Accused was in Vidisha Jail for six months, then sent to Central Jail

Serial killer Maniram was in the Vidisha Jail for six months. After that, when he was sentenced to life imprisonment, he was sent to the Central Jail in Bhopal. He returned home after serving a sentence of about 15 years and was completely acquitted after taking the sentence in the murder case. He stayed a few days in the Karaund region of the capital Bhopal after the whole scene. He then lived for some time in the Ashoka garden area. During this time, Maniram was introduced to Adil Bahav.

Maniram had committed murder in the year 2000

Sannu Harijan, 50 years old, his son Kallu Harijan, 21 years old, Kallu's wife Sumitra Bai, age 19, Sanu's wife Saribai, age 42 years, Ramkali Bai and her husband Harbakus age 30 years were murdered. They had come to Dehgaon to visit his uncle's father-in-law during those days. The entire family was finished, but a nephew named Kundan still lives in Manora village.

Maniram committed murdered again in the year 2020

Serial killer Ramamani recently killed Aishbagh resident Adil Bahay after getting released from jail. Adil used to work in a private portal. Maniram once again, adopting his old trick, lured Adil to by telling him about a false buried treasure. It is being said that Adil Bahay gave him 17000 rupees in this way. When Adil Bahay demanded for his money, he took him to the forests of the Sukhi Sewania and killed him. After interrogating about 74 people, the police arrested the accused from Sagar on the basis of the manner of the incident. This time too, Chen Singh Raghuvanshi, who is now in charge of the police station, has arrested the serial killer. During the interrogation, the accused confessed that he had killed Adil.

Three sons of the serial killer live in Vidisha

The killer is a resident of Minora in Vidisha. When he killed the entire family, the people of Manora village had banished him. After this, his three boys live in a rented house in Vidisha. They were trying to spend their lives quietly there. On the basis of them, the police have caught the accused once again.

Serial killer lived in Bhopal from 2017 to 2020

Maniram was released from jail in June 2017. Then he lived in the Nawab Colony of Ashoka Garden area of the capital Bhopal. After the murder, he stayed there for 1 day and escaped from there on 9th.

Killed Adil Bahay in the third attempt

Police officer-in-charge Chen Singh Raghuvanshi said that during interrogation, the accused told that he had taken Adil to the scene of the crime for the third time. He killed the man after making sure that the area was deserted. He had planned to kill Adil earlier in the day, but he could not do so as there were shepherds around. He, however, managed to identify the place. Maniram had told Adil that he would get buried gold here. He said that they could not dig the ground then as there were people around. At the same time, he took Adil to the same spot in the night and killed him.

Court gave 2 days remand to the police

Criminal Maniram Sen has been produced in court after conducting a test of Covid-19 in 1250 hospital on Wednesday. The police then demanded a 5-day remand. But only 2 days' remand has been given. He will then be presented in court on 8 January.

The brother of the deceased, Amir Bahay, said that his brother did not believe in such superstition. He cannot believe that he has been murdered in such a way. Also, Adil did not have many friends. During interrogation, it was found that Adil had befriended Naved. Naved had introduced him to Ejaz and Ejaz had introduced him to Imran and Imran had introduced him to Maniram, the serial killer. It is to be noted that Adil Bahay had four brothers. Of which he was the youngest, and was married in 2016. He later got divorced in 2017.

This was the whole case

It is to be noted that on July 7, 2000, 5 people of the same family were murdered after going to a forest in the pretext of getting buried treasure. In this case, the accused came out of the Central Jail Bhopal in June 2017 after serving 17 years of life imprisonment. He killed a journalist working in a portal on the night of 8 November 2020.

In this case today, the police have produced the accused in the court on Wednesday after conducting a Covid-19 test in the 1250 hospital. The constable Chen Singh, who arrested Maniram in the year 2000, is the same who has arrested him again, but now is a police station in-charge.
