Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Upon opening of donation boxes of the Khajrana Temple after seven months, the temple management has so far recovered around Rs 66 lakh.
Donation boxes in the temple were last opened on July 4, 2020, when the temple management recovered lakhs of rupees.
The 35 donation boxes from the temple premises were once again opened this week, with the counting of donations still ongoing for the third day today.
Till now, the temple management has recovered Rs 66 lakh in cash, along with foreign currency, gold and silver jewellery, and even notes of prayers.
The notes carried prayers from devotees for their family's safety during the pandemic, a new house in Indore, or help with their financial condition.
