Bhopal: In the wake of 2019 general elections, the security measures have increased outside the house of Bhopal BJP candidate Sadhvi Pragya Thakur.
The police have set up a metal detector machine at the entrance of the house and everyone who is entering the house is being investigated.
16 police personnel and a bomb squad have been deployed outside Thakur's house. Few police personnel were also deployed in plain uniform.
According to sources, the police received input to increase the security of Sadhvi Pragya following which a decision was taken regarding her safety.
Meanwhile, Police have refused to comment on the extra security being given to Pragya Thakur.
Reportedly, black flags were shown when Pragya reached collector office on Tuesday to file her nomination.
