Jhabua: In the Adivasi regions here instances where women are tortured and mistreated, are increasing these days. In a recent incident, a woman was made to carry her husband on her shoulder as a punishment.
Reportedly, the woman and her husband had a fight following with she was punished and treated very badly for the same.
Apart from carrying her husband on her shoulder, the woman was verbally abused and physically attacked too.
A video of the incident went viral in social media, only after which the incident came to the knowledge of the police here and the woman was called late at night to register a complaint in this regard.
