Chikkodi (Karnataka): Shiv Sena political activists have again created a ruckus in the Karnataka-Maharashtra border. Shiv Sena activists are now opposing the inspection of vehicles as per Covid guidelines on the border between the two states. They are also against the Karnataka government's decision of making RT-PCR test reports mandatory for entering the state. Some people in the border areas of Maharashtra commute across the state's border for their offices and business every day. The political activists are demanding that the locals be exempted from carrying the RT-PCR reports.

Disrupting the border check post, Shiv Sena activists raised slogans against the Karnataka government. Yesterday, they also threatened to destroy the Karnataka check post. These activists have been taken into custody by the Maharashtra Police. Meanwhile, the Karnataka Police have tightened the security on the border.
