Man beaten for stealing underwear

An undergarment thief has been beaten by the locals in Karnataka's Shivamogga. After the incident, the thief's friends have harassed the person who has handed the thief to the police.

Shivamogga (Karnataka): A pervert who was stealing undergarment was being beaten by the locals and handed over to police on Saturday in Karnataka's Shivamogga.

The incident in Marashettiyhalli came to light after Satish, a teacher in the village installed a camera in his backyard.

In the CCTV footage, the man can be seen stealing undergarments from the teacher's house.

The thief stole the innerwears, which were set to dry as well as for washing.

After the incident, the thief's friends attacked Sathish and wounded him.

Sathish is under treatment in a hospital and a case was filed in Holehonnuru police station.

ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ : ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಗರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಪಾರ್ಟ್‌ಮೆಂಟ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಹುಡುಗಿಯರ ಹಾಸ್ಟೆಲ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಒಳ ಉಡುಪು ಕದಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಳ್ಳನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿರುತ್ತೀರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೇಳಿರುತ್ತೀರಿ, ಆದರೆ ಇದೀಗ ಇಂತಹ ಸೈಕೋ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೋರ್ವ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿ ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೌದು ಇದೀಗ ಇಂತಹದ್ದೆ ಒಂದು ಘಟನೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಮಾರಶೆಟ್ಟಿಹಳ್ಳಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಸತೀಶ್ ಎಂಬ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದು ಒಣಗಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಂತಹ ಸೈಕೋ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಒಳ ಉಡುಪನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕದಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ಈ ರೀತಿ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಈ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಒಳ ಉಡುಪು ಕದಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ.Body:ಈಗಾಗಿ ಮನೆಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಸತೀಶ್‌ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗೆ ಸಿಸಿ ಕ್ಯಾಮರಾ ಹಾಕಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಈಗಾಗಿ ಒಳ ಉಡುಪು ಕದಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸೈಕೋನ ದೃಶ್ಯ ಇದೀಗ ಸಿಸಿ ಕ್ಯಾಮರಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಿಸಿ ಕ್ಯಾಮರಾ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿದಾಗ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದು ಒಳ ಉಡುಪು ಕದಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸೈಕೋ ಅದೇ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಮನು ಕುಮಾರ್ ಎಂದು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಆತನನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದರೆ ನಾನು ಯಾವುದೇ ಒಳ ಉಡುಪು ಕದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ವಾದಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.Conclusion: ನಂತರ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಸಿಸಿ ಕ್ಯಾಮರಾ ತೋರಿಸಿದಾಗ ಬೇರೆ ದಾರಿ ಕಾಣದೇ ಅದು ನಾನೇ ಎಂದು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಘಟನೆ ಬಳಿಕ ಸೈಕೋ ಮನು ಕುಮಾರ್ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಸತೀಶ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಲ್ಲೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ತೀವ್ರ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸತೀಶ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಘಟನೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಹೊಳೆಹೊನ್ನೂರು ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.
