IT sleuths conduct raid on former Chief Minister SM Krishna's sister's residence in Bengaluru

The sleuths of Income-Tax department raided the premises of former Chief Minister SM Krishna sister's residence in Bengaluru. But, they did not disclose the details about the raid.

Bengaluru: The sleuths of the Income-Tax Department, who are keeping an eye on the illegally collected money, which may be used in the ensuing Assembly elections, continued their raids for the second day in Karnataka on Sunday. Former Chief Minister SM Krishna's sister SM Sunita's residence at Koramangala was raided by the Income-Tax department officials in Bengaluru.

The I-T officials are reportedly verifying the files at her home at the time of filing this report. Similarly, a search was conducted at the residence of Hari Reddy, a builder and real estate businessman, who is a close friend of a Congress candidate. It is learnt that officials, who came in three cars, inspected Hari Reddy's house on Saturday and returned with some documents and a printer from the house.

The BJP, which is at the helm in Karnataka, and the opposition Congress party leaving no stone unturned to romp home. Prime Minister Narendra, Union Ministers and senior party leaders campaigned across Karnataka seeking a massive mandate for the party. While Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and other veteran leaders appealed to the voters to vote for the party.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a scathing attack on Congress for its proposal to ban Bajarang Dal in their manifesto. After the Prime Minister, Tejasvi Surya, the BJP National Youth Wing chief and MP from Bengaluru South, shared a poster on social media stating that he is a Bajrangi.
