Former Karnataka minister's son arrested in drug case

The Central Crime Branch of Bengaluru has arrested the former minister Rudrappa Lamani's son in connection with the drug peddling racket. In addition, two other accused in the case have also been arrested.

Bengaluru: The son of a former minister was arrested on Monday by Central Crime Branch (CCB) officials in connection with the drug peddling racket in Bengaluru.

Darshan Lamani, former minister Rudrappa Lamani's son, has been arrested for allegedly helping an accused in the Drug Case

In addition, two other accused in the case have also been arrested.

The accused, Hemanth and Suneesh, were on the run after the CCB busted the online drug racket.

However, based on the information, the CCB tracked them down to Goa and arrested them along with Lamani.

According to sources, the police have taken the accused into custody and the CCB is further investigating the matter.
