Gadag (Karnataka): At a time when the country is witnessing a surge in coronavirus cases, healthcare professionals are having to work overtime with many not being able to pay a visit to their family members.
Dr.Jagadish, working at JIMS Hospital in Karnataka, has not been home for the last two months. He and his wife were recently blessed with a child, but Dr. Jagadish has only seen his baby boy via video calls.

Similar is the ordeal of Dr. Jayraj who is working in the same hospital and has not met his family ever since he was placed on COVID-19 duty.

Apart from being overburdened with increasing number of patients, these medical professionals are also having to deal with the emotional trauma of being away from their family.
