Mangalore (Karnataka): A businessman was brutally murdered near HDFC bank in Mulki panchayat town at Mangalore taluk in Dakshina Kannada district on Saturday.
The gruesome act was captured in the CCTV camera placed outside the bank. As many as eight people attacked Abdul Latheef (38) with swords and other lethal weapons.
He kept groaning in pain and soon succumbed to his injuries on the spot. With the help of the captured footage the police were able to identify the culprits.
Muhammed Haseem (27), Nisar alias Riaz (33), Muhammad Razeem (24) and Abubakkar Siddique (27) of Uchchila Bada village have been arrested so far.
Personal enmity is suspected to be the reason for the murder. The investigation into the matter is still underway.
