Srinagar: Internet services in the Kashmir valley, which were suspended on the occasion of Republic Day, have been restored.
Authorities in the newly formed Union Territory had shutdown 2G mobile internet services in all districts of Kashmir on the occasion of the 72nd Republic Day of India, citing security reasons. However, mobile internet services were restored at 6 PM.
In Jammu and Kashmir, except for two districts, 4G mobile internet has been continuously shut down for more than a year and a half, due to which people here are facing a lot of difficulties.

In addition, on occasions like August 15 or January 26, 2G services are also shut down due to the security reasons, which is causing more problems for the people.
