Hand grenade lobbed at Police Station in J&K, no damages reported

A hand grenade was lobbed at Police Station Bijbehara in South Kashmir's Anantnag district on Friday by unknown men. However, the grenade exploded without causing any damage, police said. According to the police, the area has been cordoned off and a search operation is undergoing to nab the culprits.

Anantnag (Jammu and Kashmir): A hand grenade was lobbed at Police Station Bijbehara in South Kashmir's Anantnag district on Friday by unknown men. However, the grenade exploded without causing any damage, police said. According to the police, the area has been cordoned off and a search operation is undergoing to nab the culprits.

"At about 2035 hours today, unknown terrorists lobbed a hand grenade towards Police Station Bijbehara which exploded without causing any damage. Area cordoned & search going on to nab the culprits," Anantnag police wrote on Twitter.
