BJP leader shot dead in South Kashmir

A BJP leader, Gul Mohammad Mir, has been allegedly shot dead by militants at Nowgam, Verinag in South Kashmir

Nowgam: A Bharatiya Janata Party leader, identified as Gul Mohammad Mir, was allegedly shot dead by terrorists in Nowgam in South Kashmir's Verinag on Saturday.

Gul Mohammad was the party's district vice-president. Security forces have cordoned off the area. Further details are awaited.
